THE ART OF CRAFTSMANSHIP

We breathe quality, comfort, passion & craftsmanship into every pair of shoes that we make.

All our shoes are meticulously handcrafted. But what does ‘Handcrafted‘ actually mean?
Which steps are involved?

FULL GRAIN CALF LEATHERS

Great pair requires the best leather to bring them to life. The most durable and flexible form of leather. It stretches naturally to take the shape of your foot and develops a beautiful patina over time.

HAND – CLICKING

All parts of our shoes are precisely hand cut. That way the artisan can match the skins and use only the best part of each hide. It enables a seamless transition of overlapping parts, making sure the whole upper is smooth to the touch.

BLAKE STITCHED CONSTRUCTION

Our each shoes are made using the traditional Blake stitched construction for for enhanced flexibility and longitivity. The stitching of the leather upper through the insole and sole removes the need for a welt, creating a beautiful and refined shoe.

MADE TO LAST

After the leather is cut into the right pieces, it is mounted on shoe lasts. The shoe lasts are needed to give the huaraches the right fit. Over the last years, we have developed our own shoe lasts to guarantee the perfect fit.

ARGENTINIAN LEATHER SOLE

With a high abrasion resistance and durability it is a favourite among shoe makers and the strength of the material allows for a high internal bond.

SOFT, COWHIDE LINING

A good lining is essential for the overall comfort of a shoe. Our mellow tempered cowhide lining ensure a smooth and soft feel, and helps maintains comfort for the foot.

FINISHING

Depending on the leather, the shoe is now cleaned, polished, buffed or brushed. Artisans hand-apply color and burnish to the desired end-result and is finally polished and is ready to be delivered.
